Teresa got involved in branch development activities for the CIPD North Yorkshire Branch and took on the role of branch administrator. She set up the events e-update system, started a LinkedIn group and edited branch newsletters, amongst other thing, which all helped to get branch engagement up to record numbers.
Teresa delivered a talk for the CIPD North Yorkshire Branch entitled 'LinkedIn for HR people'. It looks at the positive sides of social media rather than just looking at the negative aspects - of people saying things they shouldn't - that HR people are so used to hearing about.
